Sudan Day 6

Today I had my first chance to visit one of the orphanages. It's great to see how the EPC is meeting the needs of so many children who have been orphaned by the war by sharing the love of God with them - both tangibly and spiritually. It is an honor to work along side them this week.

Sudan Day 5

Today we continued teaching at the pastor's conference. It was a great moment when one man told us that the material we are teaching them will help them greatly in discipling new believers.

Sudan Day 4

Today was the first day that I have ever taught in a formal setting. A humbling experience, but an honor to teach on understanding the fear of the Lord - or viewing ourselves right-sized before God.

Sudan Day 3

Today was the start of the pastor's conference here in Yei. It was a great time of teaching and Q&A. The curriculum we are going through is the Step Studies/Recovery program that is taught at the Village Church. A 14 week program that we are cramming into 1 week!
